We have now in place our TDY bike to celebrate and be a lasting memory of all the hard work that we put into the Tour de Yorkshire event last year. We were awarded' Best dressed town'!

Tree Planting!

Our school has been lucky enough to receive 12 trees from Octo energy. Jess French from Cbeebies helped our pupils to plant these trees and we look forward to watching them grow!

Down Syndrome Awareness Day

The brilliant Emily Gawthorpe Perry arranged a day of fundraising for the Downright Special organisation in Hull. To show support we wore odd socks and raised an amazing £200! Well done Emily!

Family learning day at The Orchard

What a great time was had by all on Family learning morning! At the Orchard pupils and adults had the opportunity to meet up with our Local Lion Jenny Eldred to discuss how our pupils are supporting their local community through the JASS award scheme. There was also opportunity to create their own bug bun and Eater biscuits.

Mini lions took this opportunity to raise money through the support of our very talented face painter Mrs Eldred and the lovely weather meant that we were able to play out on bikes and scooters on the orchard yard. Mrs Simmonite and Mrs Hague (with the help of Rosie) provided refreshments and gave adults and children time to look around our new provision
