RNLI

The RNLI came into school to talk to us about keeping ourselves safe around open water and especially the beach in Hornsea. They told us about the job that they do to keep us all safe.

Cheque presented for the charity bag award

Craig and Andy from The Tesco store in Hornsea where invited into school to say a big ‘Thank you’ for all their support over this year. They have donated refreshments for the family learning day, bags for the community beach clean, Easter celebration refreshments, TdY jersey art competition and bags for life which was a cheque for £5000 that has enabled the school to buy a class set of IPADS.

Winners of the TdY jersey competition.

Mrs Beaumont’s class won the TdY design a shirt competition that was sponsored by The Tesco store in Hornsea. Andy and Craig delivered books to school that Harry accepted on behalf of the class.

Mrs Larsen's goat, Frankie, came into school on Friday! The children enjoyed learning all about him!

Bun sale: we had a non-uniform day and bun sale in 6HG to raise money for Candlelighters in memory of Brett Scott. In total, we raised £836! This money will make a massive difference.

Here are the winners of the Year 5 and 6 Art Competition. The judges were thoroughly impressed with the high standard of work! Well done to the students and thank you to the judges for your encouraging comments.
