Big Maths Information

Big Maths is a sequential framework used to increase the children's Core Numeracy skills. Currently, Big Maths is taught from Year 1 to Year 6 and all children have a daily Big Maths session, culminating on a Friday with ‘Big Maths Beat That’ tests – Learn Its tests are completed weekly. Year 1 and 2 children complete CLIC tests weekly and Year 3 to Year 6 test CLIC/SAFE alternate weekly.  In EYFS, Learn Its tests begin in the Spring term with CLIC tests following in the Summer term.
