Easter Around The World

Take a look at the 'Easter Around The World' resource to get some interesting new ideas for your Easter break. You could celebrate like they do in Scotland with an egg rolling competition, or make an Easter kite just like they do in Bermuda, or even decorate an Easter egg tree like in Germany! We especially like the beautiful egg decorations in Poland, could you decorate an egg with a bright and colourful design like this? You would have to be a very careful painter!

Salt Dough Easter Eggs

Have a go at making an Easter decoration that you could keep. All you will need is 4 cups of flour, 1 cup of salt, 1.5 cups of warm water. When you have mixed all of the ingredients and you're happy with your dough, get to work with your cutters and make an Easter egg shape. Don't forget to make a little hole in the top if you want to hang your decoration once it is baked. Pop them in the oven for 2 -3 hours to make sure they are nice and dry and solid. Then have fun decorating!

A few suggestions of what you might wish to do over the Easter holiday.

  • Make an Easter Egg hunt in your garden. Can you write your own clues?
