In Year 2 we look at learning to read an analogue clock. We focus on reading it to the hour, half an hour, every 15 minutes and finally every 5 minutes.
Why not test your child/ren throughout the day to see if they know what time it is? Or ask them when events might happen, e.g. lunch time is at 12 o'clock, what would the clock look like then?
If your child is very confident, can they tell you how long it is until a certain time?
E.g It is quart past 1 now, how many minutes is it until 2 o'clock?
