Key Stage 2 Choir

On Wednesday 13th December KCFM came into school to record our choir singing two Christmas carols. They will be played on the radio, along with some other schools in the area, on Christmas Day between midday and 1pm. As well as this, one carol from each school will be played at 8.20am each morning from the 18th December on the Matt Hutchinson Breakfast Show. Please listen out to see if you can hear our school!

6 girls represented HCPS in the Memorial Parade on Sunday. They laid the wreath as a mark of respect.

The Sensory Garden Project girls presented their ideas and proposal to the Council tonight - they were asking for full Planning Permission, it was granted!!

School Games Mark!

We are pleased to announce that we have been awarded the Gold award for the previous year (2016-17) and we are one of two schools in our area to have the opportunity to apply for a Platinum award as we have had Gold 5 years in a row! What a great achievement! This shows the amount of Sport and events that take place in school and how many great opportunities our children have! Results to follow!

Sensory Garden Project

The Rotary club are leading project to design, fund and create a sensory garden in Hall Garth Park. 6 girls from Year Six met with Angus and Trish from the Rotary Club and Ashley from the town council to present their ideas following on from their initial meetings back in July. The girls worked in pairs to create a short pitch to present today. All three guests were very impressed with the girls and have decided to ask all 6 of them to work together to create a five minute presentation to deliver to the council asking for their support and permission.

School Council - Sept 2017

Each class have elected their school council member for this academic year. The KS2 classes held an election, each candidate hoping to represent their class had to give a short speech explaining why they wanted to represent their class. The children then had an anonymous vote. To find out more about our school council please visit out School Council page.
