Year 5 - Making Spaghetti Bolognese
5CW Gymnastics
All half term we have been learning different gymnastic skills and today the children were given the chance to create and perform their own routines. They were amazing. Here is a short video to show some of the work that the children did.
Distance from the Sun
On a very wet and windy afternoon, we went outside to recreate a scaled 'model' of the distance from each planet from the Sun. It was interesting to see how far away some planets were in comparison to others!
Woodland World!
Year 5 have really enjoyed exploring the forest school in Woodland World this half term! We are hoping for better weather next half term so we can light the campfire!
Fractions Exploration
Fraction Museum!
Year 5 really enjoyed making a Fraction Museum today! The children had to use objects from around the room to create 'exhibits' showing a variety of different fractions. We then 'visited' each other's exhibits within our own classes and enjoyed seeing how creative everyone had been.
