The Memorial Garden visit in Hornsea.
Today 3MS, 3AW and 3/4CW visited the memorial Garden in Hornsea,
It was a lovely day and the pupils were very respectful.
We had time to look at and draw the poppy Wreaths that had been placed there.
Mrs Simmonite told us all about the service that was held on Remembrance Sunday.
The world cup is here and our country in 3MS is Saudi Arabia.
We tasted dates, found out lots of information about the country, practiced writing in Arabic and listened to songs
Science morning-Let's Learn together
Today we had a great morning with our grown ups in school.
We made paper telephones and learnt all about how our ears work.
Our favourite part was signing a song that we have been learning.
Year 3 inspirational person - Mrs Burton
Mrs Burton very kindly came into school to show us some of her amazing jewellery. She demonstrated some very useful techniques to help us in our own Stone Age necklace designs.
Take a look at some of the images.
The children were making letters out of homemade playdough. We got very messy and really enjoyed it and even made some letters!
Lets Learn together morning-Mindfulness
It was so lovely to see lots of adults in school today, we had a great time with our mindfulness session. We are looking forward to many more from The Year 3 team.
It has been amazing to have Ryan from Tigers trust come and teach us team games.
He was really impressed with how well we could all work together.
Thank you Ryan from The Year 3 team
