Wesak

 

Wesak is a special celebration for Buddhists. This year it falls on Thursday 7th May. It is when they celebrate Buddha's birthday. They clean and decorate their homes, go to temple and pray. Some people even place gifts at the statues of Buddha to say thank you for all of the things that he taught people.
