VE Day 75th Anniversary Celebrations
On Friday 8th May we will celebrate VE day
The VE in VE Day stands for Victory in Europe. It was the public holiday of 8th May 1945 to mark the defeat of Germany by the Allied forces in World War 2.
More than 1 million people celebrated in the streets of cities, towns and villages in the UK.

Then grab your picnic blanket and head to your garden for tea and scones.
9pm
Nationwide sing along to ‘we’ll meet again’ with Royal British Legion after the Queens speech. (If you are still awake if not why don’t you record this and watch it tomorrow)
