Times tables
The Times Tables we focus on in Year 2 are the 2s, 5s and 10s all the way up to 12 times. If you want an extra challenge try your 3s and 4s as well!
These can be done both in and out of order!
To encourage using the inverse (opposite) as well, get your child/ren to write a fact family for each equation. Fact families are 4 calculations that use the same numbers so the fact family for 4 × 2 would be:
4 × 2 = 8
2 × 4 = 8
8 ÷ 4 = 2
8 ÷ 2 = 4
