Reception Baseline Assessment
The EYFS teachers complete the Reception Baseline Assessment with each child within the first 6 weeks of the Autumn term.
The Reception Baseline Assessment is split into two sections -
Early Years Foundation Profile
This summative document is compiled following formative assessment using Development Matters as a guide throughout the Reception year.
This assessment is submitted in the Summer Term each year.
The results are reported to the Local Authority and to parents/carers.
