Jubilee Fun in Year 3

Oh what fun we had on our Jubilee day at the end of Summer 1!  All the school contributed to an enormous paper chain of hope.  We managed to make it so long that it went around our classroom twice.  Take a look at the photos below.

We made our very own crowns and collages too.  

The best bit though was by far the Jubilee picnic.  The buns made by our school cooks were just amazing!!

3MS have really enjoyed our English lessons this week, we have been following instructions.

Design Technology - Investigating, Designing, Making and Evaluation of Bird Feeders

Year 3 had fun investigating different types of Bird Feeders.  After we had done this we then took some ideas and formed our own designs.  Take a look at some of our finished products.  What do you think?  The birds certainly loved them!

3AW Beach Visit

Many thanks to Taff and Carin for delivering such a fun morning filled with Maths activities on the Beach.  The children had a fabulous time, as did the adults.  A few of the children said whilst there, "Yeah we aren't doing Maths or English this morning!"  Little did they know!!!!

They should all sleep well tonight.
