Times Tables
Times Table Rockstars:
Times Tables Rock Stars is a carefully sequenced programme of daily times tables practice which aims to develop children’s recall of multiplication tables up to 12 x 12 and related division facts in either paper form or online. Each week concentrates on a different times table, with a recommended consolidation week for rehearsing the tables that have recently been practised every third week or so.
The software enables children to practise their tables either individually or allows them to compete against others from around the world in live games (Rock Festival mode) and against all their classmates (Rock Arena mode).
Times Table Rockstars is a programme that we use at HCPS to ensure children develop a quick and efficient recall of multiplication facts, enabling them to become more accurate and effective in their problem solving.
Multiplication Tables Check - Year 4
From June 2022, Year 4 pupils will take a Multiplication Tables Check (MTC) to test their knowledge of the times tables (up to 12x12).
